How to submit a Member Data Change Request (Simple Correction)

SSS Members can change incorrect data by the use of Member Data Change Request or also know as Simple Corrections. It is important to change the needed information because it will bring a problem in the nearest future when you are going to claim your benefit or apply loans from SSS. Not updating and correcting data may add delay on processing of your SSS transactions. And now, you can do this online using the your My.SSS Account.

Here are the step-by-step procedure for correcting your personal information:

  1. Log in to My.SSS Account via www.sss.gov.ph or click this link.
  2. Under the E-Services Tab point the mouse to ‘Membership Records’ then click ‘Submit Request for Member Data Change (Simple Correction)’ as seen below.

3. Choose 1 data change requested such as:

As you can see from the images above, you need to upload supporting document for your changes to be approved and updated. The supporting document must be PDF File with a maximum file size of 2MB. If you notice the blue text ‘Required Supporting Documents’, you can click it and website will display the document you need to upload. In this case, it’s a Marriage Certificate.

When you submit the file, the website will ask you if you want to confirm the request:

Then a transaction number will appear and the website will send you an email of your request whether approved or rejected.
